  1. I just bought an Explorer 1500 and an ICECO JP40. The Jackery disply shows the same wattage being used on AC as DC. Curiously, the runtime on AC may be longer than on DC.

  2. Jackery customer service is terrible. Consider this before giving them your hard earned money…

  3. Do you know the size or type of the dual input 8mm type of connectors? Is it possible to get an adapter for the old style 8mm to new style 8mm? Thanks

  4. The all new Jackery 2000 the perfect tool for those who need it in the field(typically sold out to jackasses that use it around the home.) Dumbfound your friends using it in the kitchen, garage, patio, and many other places where outlets are available.

  5. I am looking for a user friendly quality 2000w generator with continuous AC output capability of 1920w, with solar input ability of 700 w and that can charge and discharge at the same time. Are there major advantages/disadvantages of one over the other between the Jackery Explorer 2000 (if they were available) and the Bluetti AC200P? And are there any others of that size that should be considered? I could wait for the Explorer 2000, but the price advantage of the Bluetti currently has me leaning that way. Thoughts?

  6. A little over a month since the product announcement and the 2000 unit is sold out on the website. I'll wait and see if they have them in stock and on sale at the end of the year. No way should consumers be tricked into rushing into purchases for $2100 items.

  7. Ok, I'm looking for a solar setup that will charge my MacBook Pro while on a sailboat for three months. It'd be nice to get a couple charges per charge but at least once. Size is a big concern. space on the boat is always an issue. So small and compact. Small as possible panels. I do like the suitcase setups. It will be moved often and waterproof in a salt environment. Might have to buy one every 2-3 years just because the elements are harsh. I'm plenty confused…

  8. Good day Sir. I have purchased the Jackery 500 to replace my inverter generator. I fly rc helicopters, and the currently two I owned uses Lipo’s raging from 2S-6S 250mah all they way up to 1800mah. I use an iCharger X8 charger rated at 1100w and paired it with mean well NES 350w 29a power supply, more than enough for what I need it for. My question to you is, is it safe for me to use the Jackery 500 AC port and plug my power supply there to run my charger to charge those Lipo’s. I figured since the power supply is rated at 350w and the Jackery is 500 it’s safe to do it that way since the power supply will carry the amp I needed to charge my Lipo’s. Did a couple of test charge with 3 x 700mah @ 1.5c current, completed the charge in 22 mins and took only 2% off the Jackery’s power from 100% down to 98% which to me is very good. Can also plug the charger directly to the 12v side of the Jackery that’s only rated at 10a, I have to be aware of amperage using the 12v side of the Jackery and make sure not to go over 10a. So which one do you think is more efficient charging those Lipo’s? With power supply on the AC side or without the power supply directly to the 12v side? Thank you so much

  9. I ordered a Jackery 2000. Being shipped mid May. Thinking of returning it. Wondering if anyone is interested in buying it in case they missed out on ordering?

  10. You didn’t mention that Jackery highly recommend to not use the generator and charge simultaneously. They said it would damage the generator by reducing the life time significantly. And the battery is not replaceable. The battery life is normally 8 years. Reducing the life time of how much i don’t know. So it is an inconvenient when we have a freezer/fridge. Theoretically we would need two. One that is charged by the solar panels and one that is used. It would be good if Jackery were capable to have a part of the generator battery reserved to accumulate the charge without being used, and switch the battery part when fully loaded to continue the charge, to allow simultaneous usage and charge. I know it is possible to charge during usage on the big volta system (not portable), i don’t know how they do it.

  11. I have watched several tests on the jackery 1500 from other YouTubers why are you so late to the game? I trust you more than these other people….

  12. question professor hobo, i bought the jackery 2000 but i want to buy the bluetti 200w panels, 4 of them will the new jackery support running these in series? i know the jackery 1000 will not after watching one of your video. i know ill need a mc4 to 8mm adapter, anything else?

  13. Hey mister hobo is jackery afraid to send you a 1500 to test before its release unless I missed it I don't see you testing A 1500 jackery I will not buy one unless I see you testing one cuz you're the man when it comes to testing. Other people have them and they're not testing a like you do

  14. Hello Professor, I am thinking about buying the Jackery 1500. Do you think it is worth it? I have an EcoFlow Delta 1300 the specs are similar but the Jackery 1500 is more powerful. Thinking about buying a second unit as a backup for power loss as I live in Florida which is a Hurricane area. Please let me know what you think? I would basically use these portable units to power household appliances like refrigerators and 3.5 cubic freezer and some portable fans. Thank you

  15. Where is a review on the Jackery 2000? I was hoping you would be out with the review now that Jackery has released the product. Many of us already invested in a product that we have no clear picture of the capability. I believe Jackery may end up with many returns if it does not live up to expectations. The confusion could be resolved if some of their influencers would get out a video. If it dose not perform, I will box mine up and promptly place it in the mail for a return.

  16. Professor Hobo, Could you do a side by side comparison of the Jackery Explorer 2000 vs the Bluetti 200P? Would love to hear your review and opinion. Also, why can't these solar generators charge from a gas generator? Thx Hobo, love your channel!

  17. The sale date is coming up very quickly professor, my wife is giving me the green light for the 1500 can you please give me a review so I know what I'm purchasing????

  18. Professor hobo, so I may have access to an extension cord from a neighbor's house on my land I won't be able to plug my truck camper into it. The truck camper sits alone and there's no electricity up there. Can I use the jackery 1000 or 1500 to keep dry rods plugged in while I'm not on the property and plugged into the AC cord at the same time?

  19. Welllll just take your $$$ and buy the bluetti 1500, 2400 (I have 3) they're AWESOME!!! or go for the new 5100. EVERYONE BETTER STEP UP THERE GAME, BLUETTI IS KILLING IT!!!!
