  1. Very cool system you built here. But how did you ground the system ? Or do you not require it ?

  2. Why did you buy the most expensive and short lived battery on the planet? Hello? Do some research on total lifetime KW available per dollar.

  3. Good info, but wish I could hear it as you speak quickly and with that annoying loud background music it's hard to digest what you're saying. Just because you can add music doesn't mean you should, especially jittery annoying techno junk, turn it off, thanks.

  4. goal zero yeti 6000x lithium portable power station 200w solar 3 plants goal zero test it out

  5. Has there been any upgrades since I watched this 3 years good video thanks

  6. What is there not to like about this very well done tutorial. I just loved it thank-you so much for taking the time to make this and share ! I know very little about converting and this will be a huge help too be sure .

  7. Great video. Using your video I've built a similar solar unit with a wind turbine. Mine is not portable but the guts are more or less the same. Cheers!

  8. Why not use a Lifepo4 Battery. It will last a lot longer, much lighter and prices on Aliexpress as an example you can get 90Ah for under 200 dollars, and you can easily get 80% instead of 50% of that capacity. They also charge faster and are not subject to the peukert effect of lead acid.

  9. I was thinking a smaller inverter say like 750watts and 2 batteries, with 1 solar panel of 100watt. Would this power a TV, small fan, and maybe a fridge??? Any thoughts from anyone on this will be appreciated…. I just went through Hurricane Sally, and Hurricane Zeta and lost power for 14 hrs each time….Wife was miserable without being able to watch TV….

  10. I've been looking for a charging solution for 2 Baofeng hand held radios, cordless 12 volt power tools and a charger for ion AA and AAA batteries. I've had an Onan 4k genny in an rv and a portable 2k both worked good but there is the issue of fuel, and it seems like overkill just to charge things. I really like this version of solar generator. Enough wattage for what I need, portable and most importantly, reasonablely priced. I was looking at the Jackery 1000 watt and their solar panels and found the ion battery begins losing capacity after 2 to 3 years. That is not acceptable to me. I'm going to get the parts for your design with the exception of using a AGM deep cycle battery.

  11. If you had lithium batteries, it wouldn’t matter if your battery was upright, would it?
