  1. BLUETTI EB70 (gray/red) https://bit.ly/2Rgg70U (mint green) https://bit.ly/3bauZ8b use code HOBO70 for discount!
FOR THOSE THAT KEEP SAYING RUN 2X100w panels in parallel: The input is limited to 8A. That means if you run two 100w panels in parallel you're throwing away nearly half the power. So you can do this but just be aware you won't hit the charge limit this way!
COMPARE TO RIVER PRO: River Pro is $180 more (EB70 is $499 with my code), EB70 has 4x the battery life, EB70 has a larger inverter (700w vs 600w — their fake 1800w trick to lower voltage can destroy appliances). River does charge a lot faster but that affects battery life. Modular battery is pointless as you can't replace the internal battery when it dies. The River has a better screen, the EB70 has better PD charging. They both support 200w solar.

  2. Just found your channel from the Bluetti site. I purchased one yesterday and am waiting for delivery. Your review was excellent. Learning you have longer form videos of the same quality – I’m a new subscriber! Excellent work.

  3. The loud charger just kills this product for me… cant believe they couldnt use a better quieter fan in a NEW product in 2021

  4. i cant decide between this and the Eco flow River Pro uugh seems the real advantage of eb70 is LifeP04 battery mainly Eco flow River Pro seems to be better in everything else MOSTLY?!?! ugh wish Hobo would do a VS video love his reviews!! Think I am going with the Bluetti 200W solar panel either way. Wasnt their supposed to be a special on Bluetti 1st week of June? Hobo's Rock!!!

  5. it's here – it's here!!!!! I'm not sure if it was you who called the short time before light on the display goes off a 'fail'. Just tap the light button once and voila display/input/battery bar etc lights up.

  6. QUESTION: can you charge this with a 120 watt solar panel? sorry for dumb question but completely new to all this. I have 3 of the Bluetti 120w solar panels. I know I can't use 2 of those because it will exceed the 200W max, but can I use just 1 and it will just take longer? I don't want to spend that much on Bluetti's 200W panel right now. PS Love your videos even though I don't understand half of it but that's okay I'm getting there

  7. how come you always talk in series for wiring solar panels? how about parallel to get more or different power?

  8. Anybody knows if the 12v ports remain on when there's no power draw? I'm interested in this for running a DC fridge that cycles on/off.

  9. Just purchased the EB70 w/200w solar panel, thanks for the code. Do you ever do live, i would like to ask questions…..HELP, do you know if i can use my Bluetti 200w solar panel with the Jackery 500??

  10. Hi, I see you have the Renogy Eclipse 200 available on your website. Per your video, would this set-up not work with the EB70? Thnx.

  11. Hobo. Would you say that the pure sign inverter in the ac50s is better than this one?

  12. How much the device can withstand the degree of external weather. In the Middle East your temperature reaches 50 C

  13. Sorry, still only one 12 volt outlet. I have a refrigerator, a hot logic, and an electric blanket, plus others. Stupid to have only one outlet.
At least it lets us have a 12 volt charge from out car as we drive 8 hours cross country.

  14. Hi Professor H, I'm confused, just bought Eb70 Bluetti, the outside box said battery type: Lithium-ion<<< I thought I'm buying Life Po4… Please clarify. Don

  15. i Purchased this product based on your review and i do like the EB70 i also purchased the Bluetti 120 Watt solar panel in Florida direct sun light im only getting about 80W input is this normal wattage input from these 120W panels

  16. Thanks for the discount. My EB70 arrived with the battery icon reflecting 0% SOC… just enough juice to show the icon @ Zero bars. Is this standard practice for Bluetti? Not a good look, and a bit disconcerting.

  17. This unit doesn’t match the specs for the inverter. They claim 700W with a surge of 1400W. Just got mine today plugged in a 700W microwave and turned it on. As soon as it hit 800W “overloaded” error message. Rather disappointed since the idea was to be able to run a bit higher end appliances with the additional power over my AC50S. I’m surprised your video didn’t have the footage of the solar degenator tests like you usually do. I hope your reviews are starting to get influenced by the mfgs sending you to his stuff.

  18. Professor, can you, without fear, use this inverter with a state of art, 200 watt brick equipped, gaming laptop or will it damage the laptop's charger, since you mention that the inverter is not so good?

  19. Let the people who want a longer format video fight to the death the shorter format video people.
All I want is your review on the new Bluetti 700 watt power station.

  20. Placed my order on April 30 and received it May 12th. Added a toggle switch on the 2-Prong AC Wall Power Cable so I don't have to unplug the power brick every time. With a 200 Watt panel, it works nicely for sustained power needs in my media closet. Overnight it didn't go lower than one power bar. Set it and forget it.

  21. You could also just parallel two 100 Watt panels? Then the voltage would be within acceptable limits and it would be close to 200 watts total.

  22. Thanks for this great review. I bought one and it looks solid so far. The AC wall adapter is loud indeed. Has someone explored the possibility of buying another adapter instead?

  23. I watched the PowerBen video TWICE. I didn't see or really understand the "use case" for it.

  24. Great overview! How long can I run a 53W (average) CPAP with a 12 to 24V converter with this generator? why do they keep putting silly flashlights on these things, I'll never understand it. Thanks!

  25. This comment has no relevance (well kinda) to the video whatsoever it's more of a request. I was wondering if you own an inductive cooktop (or inductive hotplate) and if not if you would be willing to purchase one and include it as a routine part of your testing of solar generators? I have been researching and replacing all of the power consumers (gas or electric) in my home with more efficient electric versions, with the eventual goal of completely ostracizing grid power and going 100% off grid solar. I'm about to replace my fancy 6 burner gas stove with a 2 burner inductive cooktop because let's face it I'm a guy and don't EVER use more than one burner for the rare occasions when I cook but also and far more importantly because I expect that it may be possible to power the inductive cooktop not only directly with solar but possibly with a solar generator at night as well.

  26. To be honest, for that amount of money for that unit, that's limited in what it can do, (Is Not Worth It).

  27. Hi fromm Germany,
    I prefer the longer videos.
Refering to the EB70: could you please tell me, if the sinus voltage 110V US (or the 240V EU) is good enough to power a notebook or have to fear I damages.
I possibly want to buy one, for my BikeCamper-projekt.
    Thanks for your expertise
    (Excuse my poor English)

  28. I have zero intention of buying any of these things but I love your videos so I will keep watching : )
